TFOR was represented at the 2024 WA Landcare Network (WALN) Annual Gathering by Greg and Vicki Warburton and Wayne and Desrae Clarke.
At the WALN Sundowner that followed twelve new landcarers were inducted into the WA Landcarers’ Hall of Fame, including TFOR Founding Member Wayne Clarke.
Wayne was inducted by Keith Bradby OAM, well- known author, narrator, and CEO of Gondwana Link. Since the mid-1970s he has been intensely involved in efforts to halt land clearing in marginal agricultural land. As a concerned local he he was involved with establishing some of Australia’s earliest landcare groups.
