The newest edition of our Biddip newsletter is out, summarising TFOR’s achievements throughout our 30th anniversary year, 2024, including:
- Celebration of our 30th anniversary, including a Photographic Display and Thank a Volunteer Day Breakfast
- Partnering with various organisations throughout the year, including Noongar Kaartidjin Aboriginal Corporation (NKAC), the Toodyay Landcare Centre (TLC), Wheatbelt NRM, and the Toodyay Shire Council. We also joined the Conservation Council of WA (CCWA) as a member.
- Completion of the West Toodyay Wander walking track
- Partnering with Toodyay High School on a Landcare project
- Publishing a special 30th-anniversary edition of the Biddip newsletter
- Contributing to the Shire’s Draft Local Biodiversity Strategy
- A 30th Anniversary Photographic Competition
- Displays at the Avon Descent and Toodyay Show
- Annual Fundraising Raffle which raised much-needed funds
- Various working bees
- Over 2000 plants distributed by the Seed Group
- Monitoring of river points
